Okay...so we will admit that Alaska isn't for wimps, but if you are up for a challenge...... cutting wood in -45 to keep your house warm and pipes from freezing and exploding....gussying yourself up into several layers before taking a single step out the front door (adding several pounds by the way, women)eyelashes freezing together...I could go on with things we face everyday that are different than Florida, but so rewarding...when you can let you children run around knowing the only danger to them is the wildlife (which my loud kids keep frightened away). When your neighbors own several huskies , so worth it, a large moose eating off trees right outside our front window (kids safe inside and quiet)..worth it...watching the planes taxi down our road...WORTH IT! so if anyone is up for the challenge, were up for the company!!

WAHOO! You guys are awesome! And my sister was so excited to meet you the other day! She said you're absolutely gorgeous btw! LOL! Which i had already told her! LOL great post, and I can't wait to experience Alaska... I'm sure we'll be up to visit Kari, sooner or later once we head back to the states! My kids would die to see yours again! LOL
I will brave the cold to see the sights and visit you guys...just need to win the lotto first..which is hard when you don't play! : (
